How to become popular

What do all popular people have in common? Do they all wear the same clothes? Have the same hair? Say the same things? Of course not. There are popular people all over the world, enjoying their social status at school, work, and wherever they go. They don't all look or act like each other, but they do all share one very crucial characteristic: people skills. Maybe they were born with them, or maybe they learned them from their family; however, they got them, they have them, and maybe you feel like you don't. Here's how to develop your people skills and start being the popular kid around your school!

How to pamper our planet

The impact we have on the environment today is making a big difference on the world of future generations.  It’s our responsibility to care for our planet and ensure our future well-being.

What do you think? Do you disagree on any of these points? Are there other reasons to care for the environment?

Step 3: Creativity

This is a very important point in this assigment. YOU HAVE TO BE CREATIVE! YOU MUST!
Your creativity while creating your blog and podcasts will give you the entire 30% of your grade. Or even extra help in the case you need it.  Come on! It's not that hard!

Every time you post a new entrance to your blog add some pics, you can even create it!. Write some info about the topic. Upload some pics of you recording the podcast. Make it interesting!

In your podcast recording add some music, sounds, special effects but remember that it has to be clear (not to noisy, one speaker at a time), make it sound interesting for the listeners.

Note: I know that you may not be the most incredible expert using on line tools but think of it as a new and interactive way to learn.

Step 2: SoundCloud

SoundCloud is an online audio distribution platform which allows collaboration, promotion and distribution of audio recordings.
We are going to use this online tool in order to record, save and upload the audio files that we are going to create during this course.

First you have to click SOUNDCLOUD then you will have to log in. Here you have can register as a new member, here you have to click and fill all the info. Or you can log in using facebook :

Once you are in you will find on screen your dasboard . Think of it as your main page where you willl find your activity and the activities of the one you follow (if it is the case).
Then go to the right, you will find the upload & share bottom (1). On the other part, there is a mini update which gives you general data about how many plays, comments or profile views you'll get.

Then you will find two options. You can record the audio on line (REC) or upload the audio that has been already recorded (CHOOSE FILES). Soundcloud supports files such as: mp3, acc, mp2, wave. If you choose this option you have to make sure to record the audio in the right file extension.

*If you use the ipod or ipad just go the app store and download it, it's for free. It works exactly the same way. You'll find the same options, except choosing a file. You are just able to REC on line.

Step 1: Create a Blogger

Here you will find all the info you need to know in order to create a blog for your english class project.
Please click on the following link: Manual de Blogger This link will take you to view the pdf file on line
and there you can also download it if you want to read and know more about this e-tool.

Don't worry info is in spanish so you wont have any trouble ;)
